The rarest of all the impact types is Moldavite. This beautiful
green mineral comes predominantly from the Czech Republic.
It was probably formed by the impact of
the large cometary
nucleus that excavated the Ries Crater in Germany between
15 and 20 million years ago, and, in common with the golden
Libyan Desert Glass, has been highly prized since antiquity.

Moldavite - genuine Moldavite - is very, very hard to find
these days: what is available is incredibly expensive! We
have a few examples, mounted by Linda in .925 Sterling
silver. These are wonderful value and will sell very quickly!

WARNING! A significant proportion of the material
being
offered for sale via online auctions is FAKE!
